nerves

i finally have all my stuff in order. maggie and i will be leaving in three days. whenever i have a moment of time to think about anything, i think about red mountains and blue skies. it's going to be amazing to be back in arizona... i was there about 7 years ago on vacation. things have certainly changed since then.

i got a new graphic novel today to take with me, perhaps to teach. it's the graphic novel version of artemis fowl by eoin colfer. got in up in indianapolis when daniel and i were there searching for the art museum (which we didn't find). i feel very anxious about not having any lesson plans, but i can't really prepare anything, seeing as i don't know the curriculum, or even what classroom i'll end up in. we'll see... i'm not that nervous about teaching, really. just excited. i'm more nervous about the culture shock and being accepted.
